On November 2, Vicar-General of the Hong Kong Catholic Diocese Michael Yeung Ming-cheung (天主教香港教區副主教楊鳴章) said Father Law's words did not represent the Diocese's stance, but he made no comments on his view. Cheung Kong, the holding company Li controls, has denied it had exerted any pressure on the church's leaders, adding Li has no plan to sue anyone.
