Watches & Wonders Wow the Audience

【明報專訊】Watches & Wonders 2015, the haute horlogerie exhibition in Asia opened its door yesterday and presents itself as a unique experience for visitors from the Asia-Pacific region and particularly from China. Although market fluctuation recently shown in China, the consecutive staging of Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair by Hong Kong Trade Development Council in early September and the latest edition of Watches & Wonders again cement Hong Kong's position as the leader market in Asia. The 12 exhibitors present a lineup slightly different from last year. A. Lange & Sohne, Baume & Mercier, Cartier, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Montblanc, Officine Panerai, Piaget, Richard Mille, Roger Dubuis, Vacheron Constantin and Van Cleef & Arpels are set to charm connoisseurs and collectors with exciting novelties. Two of the stars of the show are Vacheron Constantin's Ref. 57260, the most complicated mechanical watch ever made, and a collector set from Cartier, while anniversary editions, new movements, inventive complications and avant-garde materials presented by other brands are also ready to wow the audience.
